CEPL is the principal company responsible for harnessing and developing exploration & production opportunities available to indigenous companies in Nigeria and internationally. She was established in 2008 in response to the Nigerian Government’s initiative to develop and drive Nigeria’s independent Oil and Gas sector, through indigenous participation in the exploration & production subsector of the industry. CEPL followed through on this vision by executing a 35% farm-in agreement with Bayelsa State Oil Company for the development of the State-owned Atala (OML 46) marginal field.
